MUMS-GO-FREE Bouldering intro
With Sunday being Mother's Day, we're putting on two special Mothers-Only* Bouldering Basics sessions, alongside our packed timetable of workshops. These are designed to introduce the sport that you love to the special women in your life. These sessions are free and include entry to Day 2 of the festival when attendees are joined by a festival ticketholder.
*Stepmums, aunts, and non-biological mother figures all welcome!

Intro to Acro-Yoga
AcroYoga is a physical partner based practice that mixes yoga and acrobatics to create series of poses in which both partners work together to counter-balance and lift each other. Come alone or with a friend and learn to fly and base the basic poses and work towards your first flowing sequence!

Intro to Routesetting
Try your hand at routesetting and get to know your tnuts from your KTX bits! Our friendly LCC routesetting team are here to help you with your very first steps into routesetting. Already know your drills from your impact drivers? Sign up anyway! Our routesetting team will focus on routesetting technique as well as practical skills.

Campus Training: 0 to 5 pull ups
If you dream of campussing (or just want stronger arms for climbing with!) but you haven’t yet managed to unlock your first pull up - this workshop is for you. We’ll go through how to BUILD muscle, how that is different from building STRENGTH, and what exercises you need to do at each stage of your journey to go from ZERO to 5-rep HERO. Let’s get pulling!

Campus Training: muscle ups on rings
(pre requisite 5 pull ups)
This session will be a practical training session on ring muscle ups. We’ll break the movement down into its key components and then Train Hard! I guarantee you’ll go away with the know-how to master the muscle up on your own time, and if you’ve already got a strong base you might even unlock it on the day (it’s happened before!). You should definitely feel comfortable doing 5 pull ups and 10 push ups before signing up for this workshop, but if you’re not there yet, why not sign up for my 0-5 pull-up workshop instead!

Get your hips into the wall! As you delicately walk your way across a tricky slab, so often it’s your hips that make the difference between staying on and falling off. In this workshop we’ll go through the core stretches you need to improve your flexibility and build end-range strength so you can tiptoe your way to a send.
